Yays for Love!
I had the pleasure of creating a wedding ensemble for a friend's daughter's wedding. They both have the same name, how ridiculous! They are silly cute and I wish them bushels of happiness together. Fireside Printing is guilty of the gorgeous two color letterpress shown on Crane's futura white stock.
So so pretty!

10*Shirts
My friend Hiro and his pal Takuro came up with a genius way to unite artists around the world using nothing but a basic white tee and nostalgic movie themes. Each shirt will be customized by ten artists, a whopping hundred artists in total. I kicked off Buffalo'66 here in Georgia and am excited to see where it leads! You can get the full scoop yourself at 10-shirts.com

Orange and Apple
Both quick still life studies from my pantry series. I donated both pieces to the Joseph Sams School's 24th Annual Dinner, Dance and Auction to help raise funds to better serve children with special needs in the Fayetteville county area.

Tomato So Juicy
Publix has huge tomato plants on display in front of the store already. My freckles are multiplying by the minute and the mighty southern sun has already branded my pale naive limbs with all the seduction and swagger of Tennessee Williams. I can't wait for summer!

Finger Foods
While continuing my quick still life studies, no more than a handful of hours spent on each, I decided to extend my subject matter to the kitchen pantry. Grape Tomatoes & Olive are both a wee 4 by 4 inches.

Southern Snow
Snow in the South is wonderful. It has a kind of magic and mystery that it has nowhere else. And the reason for this is that it comes to people in the South not as the grim, unyielding tenant of Winter's keep, but as a strange and wild visitor from the secret North. - that's a poem, sillies.
Having moved from New York to Georgia at the onset of winter I witnessed snow's magic first hand. Georgia was wrapped up in a slushy blanket of snow and sleet that hushed the fiery state with oohs and awws of child like amazement. It also allowed me ample time to paint.
